This relates to a day event that the Friends of the Petrie Museum/UCL will be holding at the Burrell Collection, Glasgow on June 5 2010. The Event will explore Flinders Petrie's world of excavation and collection and his contribution to Egyptology and Archaeology. Speakers at the event will be Dr Stephen Quirke, Dr Bill Manley and Simon Eccles.
