Ian Mathieson
It is with deep sadness that we report that Ian Mathieson, archaeologist and Director of the Saqqara Geophysical Project passed away on Thursday 24 June 2010. He was much loved and respected, admired not only for his contribution to Egyptology but for himself as a person. He was a very special man who will be missed by all at Egyptology Scotland. Our thoughts are with his wife, Padi, and their three sons.
