Study Day - Gateway to an artistic renaissance: South Asasif Conservation Project in Context

A new event has been organised - hosted by Egyptology Scotland in conjunction with the South Asasif Conservation Project. This event takes place on Sunday 4 March 2012 at the Burrell Collection and the main speakers on the day will be Dr Elena Pischikova and Dr Robert Morkot. The study day costs £18 for Egyptology Scotland Members and South Asasif Conservation Trust Friends/Patrons and £20 for non Members. National Museum of Scotland - Exhibition 2012 - Fascinating Mummies

Members may be interested in the first major international exhibition that has been announced for the NMS following its redevelopment (it re-opens 29 July 2011). The exhibition 'Fascinating Mummies' from the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden, will run from 11 February - 27 May 2012. The NMS is the only UK venue for this exhibition.
